I don't care if it is an orgy of death, there's still such a thing as a napkin.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

My professional dealings with the Tolkien estate have led me to the same conclusion, though I would probably have said "A wacky ASSHAT."

(squints) I'm...sorry you had to do that. The tangles around that legacy rival the IRS in complexity and nonsense.

One of (our - the Reasons' and mine) co-workers at WotC was Dr. John Ratcliff - who is a Tolkien scholar (one of the few people I'll *admit* is geekier on this subject than I am) and has written books about Tolkien, the legendarium, and the movies. His tales of wending through the Tolkien Estate are horrific. Ew.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

OK, if Jaba was marooned on present-day Earth, what job would he take?

Have you seen Rush lately?

I think I'm looking for the straight version of SH for myself.
Hell, I'm wishing SH was female.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I was part of the early '70s Tolkien obsession and read LoftR a couple of times in my teens.

I'm so used to seeing LotR that I read this as, "Lord of the Fucking Rings".

That's not what the porno version was called.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

That's not what the porno version was called.

What was it? "Lord of the Cock-rings"?

The Lord of the G-Strings: The Femaleship of the String

I don't recall much of the story line, just that Misty Mundae was pretty yummy. Gotta love Cinemax.

That's not going to last long around here.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Am unable to participate in LotR discussion, as my knowledge of it is shaky. It's more than nothing, but it's not extensive. (Does this make me an inadequate geek?)

I am trying to organize CDs. I am willing to share many aspects of my life with The Girl, but I find it quite painful having to place my mainly-indie CD collection next to, well, musicals. Thankfully, she also likes swing (otherwise we'd be conducting the upcoming wedding in total silence).
