Mal: Well, you were right about this being a bad idea. Zoe: Thanks for sayin', sir.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

Apparently we as a group have failed to provide appropriate encouraging gestures to those among us who have had hysterectomies:

I... I...

I have no response to that.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I have no response to that.

The expression on your face is thanks enough.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Thanks, WindSparrow and sj. I have other funding ideas for next year which I'll be working on! Meanwhile, might have to find a job in October. Now there's a very strange thought.

Yes, that cake is... interesting.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

After not too surprisingly gaining a few more pounds during the beach weekend, I am trying to start today off healthy by having oatmeal for breakfast and drinking water today. We'll see how long that lasts.

“Not dead yet!”

Laundry

Paying bills

Bank run

Drugstore run

And the crew that's supposed to be here to start work on our patio enclosure is nowhere to be found.

At least I discovered I don't have to take the cat to the vet-- he's okay for boarding.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Okay, I know that you all want to know about this kid's birthday party that mom called about at 2AM. I called her and left a message that I wasn't going. So, today she's telling me that she didn't want to go to the birthday party and she decided to stay home, etc. I'm like if you didn't want to go, then why the hell did you call me to "invite" me? @@

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I need help writing an email to Dylan's soon-to-be-former daycare provider. I basically want to part on good terms so we can send our 2nd child there for infant care (which was fabulous), so I need an end to this sentence:

Thank you so much for the care you've provided over the past 2 years! Dylan has really thrived at Sunflower, and [???]

Ideas?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

when he hones his skills and takes over the world, you can take pride in having helped make it happen. Also, he will need a second-in-command.

That'll do, thanks!
