Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Poor DH - he really doesn't understand. I spent most of the day in the bedroom reading, on the computer, or resting my eyes. He keeps thinking of things that might entertain me. Not seeing or half seeing or whatever this is , doesn't hurt. But it is the most annoying thing ever. I feel like I am living in a 70's movie -- an intense clear image surround by extreme soft focus. It is very tiring. but no headache today. So bonus.
Please let this start improving ....
Yay for no headache & keep improving ~ma beth.
Well, I managed three whole days without having to put any of my joints into a brace. Not so much anymore. Stupid ankle.
Feel completely better soon, beth.
I'm curious how resigning part way thru her first term will better prepare her for the Presidency? I'm thinking something smells fishy here.
Maybe she has dropped out of the executive position so she can focus on community organizing, because, hey, it worked for that black guy, maybe it can get a woman in the White House.
beth! Hil! Please feel better!
Getting it in just under the wire, but, happy birthday, sj! I think you should celebrate by getting yourself a striped corset.
And happy birthday Frank, and happy anniversary to Bev and DH! Clearly this is a day of excellence all around.
More clothing porn:
Corset, blouse, or possibly blouse (or, without the corset, blouse), skirt or skirt, boots, ring, and coat.
Possibly not so much all at once, but definitely all.
Happy birthday, Frank. I hope it is not too late.
I don't know which is funnier: that there is a "Twilight" themed baseball game in Portland tomorrow night, or that the "stars" who will be there are names i do not recognize. [link]

It is this day that we Americans celebrate our freedom from Mad King George III. Happy Independance Day!!!
Oh, sweet heavens, JZ, that is a
FANTASTIC
website!
::scurries around website, drooling::
The Time Traveller's Corset is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I am paralysed with yearning.
::flails, sadly::
Oh, sorry, Colonials! Happy "If-you-walk-out-that-door,-don't-you-ever-come-back!" day.
Oh, sorry, Colonials! Happy "If-you-walk-out-that-door,-don't-you-ever-come-back!" day.
Heh.
Happy Fourth of July, Americans.
I continue to write my literature review. I would much rather be home and 'wedding' planning with The Girl. We've found an awesome little venue that suits us exactly! (And now I can't find it online. I'll link when I do.) Alas, we have nothing else planned yet, for we are very unsure about the whole 'ceremony' thing. But, venue. And music. And drinks. These are all planned in theory. The important things.
Kristin, I can definitely see the attraction of a white dress. If it weren't a bit of a cliche for gay girls, I'd be doing the full traditional dress thing. As it is, I have no idea what to wear. Something like this, possibly: [link] (although I am a long way from being that thin). Or maybe more informal. We shall see...
I agree with Fay - that Time Traveller's Corset is unbelievably beautiful. Now *that* I'd wear for my wedding.
