It's hard, because Drew would really prefer I just go non-traditional and wear something simple and not white, but a wedding really is one of the only times a woman today gets to truly dress UP in that way, and I'll admit that I never felt prettier than I did in my wedding gown at my first wedding (which was a relatively cheaply made knockoff retailing at $400). I kind of still want to be a bride, especially since I get to wear the dress twice (once just us in Hawaii and once at the big wedding party a couple of weeks later). So we'll see. I just don't know yet.
It's weird not having my mom or any bridesmaids to look and help me figure this out.
You know, I get it Kristin-- I think if I had an opportunity to have another ceremony, I might well go simpler than I did the first time but I'd definitely want something very elegant and not everyday.

I wouldn't want to vote for a quitter. Just cause she's a lame duck collecting a paycheck doesn't a Gov isn't needed. I question her logic. We shall see.
I just made the most fabulous pot roast by tossing out most of the recipe. I kept the meat, carrots and potatoes but I marinated the meat in 1/2 a beer, a packet of taco seasoning and a can of chipotle peppers. After roasting the veggies were infused with chipotle flavor. I froze the veggies for a future use, the meat is going to be taco filling in a couple days.
Poor DH - he really doesn't understand. I spent most of the day in the bedroom reading, on the computer, or resting my eyes. He keeps thinking of things that might entertain me. Not seeing or half seeing or whatever this is , doesn't hurt. But it is the most annoying thing ever. I feel like I am living in a 70's movie -- an intense clear image surround by extreme soft focus. It is very tiring. but no headache today. So bonus.
Please let this start improving ....
