Thrive to spite them

I've skipped some doses of my Strattera (for ADD) and I can tell a huge difference, I'm so forgetful and losing things.

How forgetful?

well I ran to McDonald's and when I came home I forgot to put my car in Park. I live on the side of a hill. I dind't realize this until someone knocked on my door and said "Is that your car?" And pointed to my car. Nose down in a drainage ditch.

The body shop I called doesn't open until Monday but my car was towed there. I called my car insurance, which is the kind you get when you have a crappy driving record. And they explained that it will be at fault, the deductiable is $500 and my premiums will probably go up. They just did so now I'm paying $200 a month and I can see $300 in my future.

I feel so stupid because I did this the other day but realized as I got out of the car. I was just distracted and hadn't taken my Strattera and I can't really afford the car repair bill. If this had just happened 4 weeks from now money wouldn't be an object, but it is now.

I just wish I could go 2 years without doing something stupid to my car and my driving record.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

How much are the repairs? Do you have to claim it on your insurance? Or can you live with some cosmetic damage until the money is less an issue?

Thrive to spite them

I don't know how much the repairs are and won't until Monday. I already talked to the insurance company and got a claim number so I don't know if I can go back on that.

The last major accident I caused I wasn't, um, insured, so I tried to be responsible this time and call them.

I can totally live with cosmetic damage, in fact I'm living without a passenger side view mirror since that got popped off and I've never gotten around to replacing it.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Praise be, got the call from the vet and Malachi is fine, no kidney failure, just a jerk. Now that's had his blood panel run, we get to start him on kitty prozac. I can't believe how relieved i am. I feel about 50 pounds lighter. Gonna rush home and forcibly snuggle the little brat! If he comes out from behind the fridge, that is.

The status is NOT quo.

Erin, that's great news!

I just stopped at a local bridal shop, just to look, and found two gorgeous couture dresses that are on sale because they are samples. Still stupid expensive, but wow.

Oh erin, that's wonderful. Amazing how the little bastages worry us.

And ooh, Pix-- spill! What were they like? ::loves wedding dresses::

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

More or less than the Dark Garden gowns?

Laga, way less. Those Dark Garden gowns run $3000-$8000, which blows my mind. Barb, both are dropped waist strapless with gorgeous detail.

ETA: the bodices are fitted tightly through the waist

“Not dead yet!”

Sounds gorgeous. I swear, I'm such a formal gown whore.
