It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

Buffy ,'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Being mean to your bread dough might make you feel better. The more you abuse it, the better it is.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

But it won't be made with love!

I've got pizza, now, maybe that will cheer me up.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Happy birthday, sj!

Now that I'm done with Season 3 of the good Doctor. it looks like there is a spin off. Torchwood. [link] Anyone watch it?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Anyone watch it?

It's got John Barrowman in it.

'Nuff said.

Or in my case, only the bits with James Marsters ____ing John Barrowman.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Yep. It's trashy fun - not, IMO, as compelling as Dr Who, but still worth watching. They assume a more adult audience, most apparent in that its characters have sex lives, but also in that they'll take on horror themes. And it has John Barrowman, who remains awesome.

Kristin, I already have the black trixie2, but thanks for the offer!

“Not dead yet!”

Said it in Natter, saying it again, Happy Birthday, sj!

And Torchwood is, indeed, a huge amount of fun. It delves into the complexities of the human relationships a bit more than Who does, which it's able to because of the larger cast.
