[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I didn't think the spy museum was worth the admission fee. Just my opinion, yrmv.

I think that a 13 year old boy might have more fun than an adult.

We've actually got a Dave and Buster's here in Jax-- but the Spy Museum is definitely a possibility. One of the restaurants or food areas in one of the Smithsonian Museums might work too. A lot depends on what we decide to do that day.

What I had really been hoping for was a Quaker Steak and Lube or Red Robin in the city, which were old favorites from when we were in Ohio that he loved, but unfortunately, neither of those seem to be there.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I walked to the grocery store today. My ankle is now protesting. Stupid ankle.

No, we don't have those. Hmm, the only burger place I can think of is Fuddruckers (and it's near the Spy Museum)

Oh man, Fuddrucker's is still around?

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I used to have nightmares about that place. Mom loved their buns (i know, i know) but the whole "sides of cow hanging in the window" ambiance really removed any trace of appetite, even back when i still ate meat.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I need some advice, so I turn to you guys.

The vet tells me that my cat Leo needs to have his teeth cleaned. He says he will use anesthetic. He tells me that the risks of not cleaning the teeth (which look fine to me, but what do I know) are greater than the risk of anesthetic. But I can't get the stories I've heard about cats dying under anesthetic out of my head. I love this cat dearly, if anything happened to him because of a procedure that I'm not even convinced he needs, I'd have to go back into therapy.

FTR, I've never had a cat's teeth cleaned before, and none of them have ever suffered for it. They've all had strong white teeth their whole long lives.

I don't know what to do. Advice?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Zenkitty, Windsparrow will have advice, she's about 50 posts back, so hold on.
