Zoe: Next time we smuggle stock, let's make it something smaller. Wash: Yeah, we should start dealing in those black-market beagles.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I think he did it. Either way, though, "Thriller's" kind of ruined for me by published accounts of "Jesus juice" and what-have-you. Which makes me sad, not that I would expect to still love my preteen tunes the same. ETA: And I'm not sure where he fits on the moral spectrum

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm not sure it's fair to make a kid into a sociology experiment, though.

Look how Jilli turned out.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I do know that I currently weigh too much for my knees and back, etc,
ditto. I need to drop some weight. I'm surprised with all the walking last week I wasn't more winded. But my knee was feeling it at times.

ION, I haz sandals! REI started a sale today, and the one I was eyeing was on sale. Thanks to worker bee who told me that yesterday. Now I'm waiting to get a haircut.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

As for Pop, they say they will only reveal the child's sex when Pop thinks it's time.

Two year olds are obsessed with categories and labels - if the above claim is really true, the experiment will be over in a matter of months.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I was thinking the same thing.

The hell? It's about 90 degrees outside, and there's a hail storm.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I think I like the idea of trying to raise a child without gender.

I can see deciding to raise a kid without gender if the parents also are gender-non-conforming, and they find either other kids being raised without gender or intersex kids or trans kids or other kids outside the gender binary for their kid to play with, and also make sure that there are plenty of adults who don't conform to the gender binary in the kid's life. If they don't do that, then it just seems really unfair to make a decision that will make your kid significantly different from all the other kids they see and not give them any community or role models for that difference. It sucks when a kid is "different" in some way and for whatever reason can't have friends or adults who are different in a similar way, but it just seems unfair to purposely make your kid that different without providing all that support.
