Yeah, but you're an amateur fry cook and I come from a long line of fry cooks that don't live past 25.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Quick catch-up:

Dalton made a good bond, but yeah, he got shitty scripts. However, Daniel Craig will be my OTB for the rest of my life. He even supplanted Sean Connery in my heart and Sean had it for 40 years.

MJ's death has a great deal of surreality surrounding it. It reminds me very much of the reaction when Elvis died. I'm sure we will now have MJ sightings splashed all over the Enquirer and other tabloids. The phrase will morph from "Elvis has left the building" to "Jacko has left the building."

Toddson, thank you so much for the pretty naked Swedish dancing boys. What a great vid to wake up to in the morning.

All is well that ends in pizza.

So, they are Real in the same token that makes True Crime potboilers look realistic?

Trust my rage

Does anyone else watch Real Housewives?

I often get sucked in while putting Frisco to sleep. (The TV is the only thing that keeps me from falling asleep myself.) It's a tacky show but it's hard not to watch in a train-wreck sort of way.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Well, the first one was Real Housewives of Orange County, which started soon after the show The OC did, so they were "real" in the sense of "not actors."

The status is NOT quo.

I am definitely sick with Drew's F2F cold. Sleep aids did nsm aid, and now I feel like death warmed over. Must perk up for brunch with uncle and then plan to slounge around in bed all day.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It's also a play on "Desperate Housewives"

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Like I said, I might just be cranky.

I will say that I *loved* the RH of Atlanta. They seemed more real to me than any other group.

“Not dead yet!”

I am definitely sick with Drew's F2F cold.

::cuddles with Pix in the sickies corner::

We need Cabana Boys with restorative soups and teas and gentle back rubs.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

It's also a play on "Desperate Housewives"

I must confess that, not having seen the show, the title had made me assume that it was a docusoap type show about real people from the same rich-bitch social background as the characters on Desperate Housewives, rather than a show about typical, or normal housewives.
