And a batch of (mostly) Emeline's latest pictures that she took during our baking and dancing. The only ones I took are the ones of Emeline baking. [link]
The rest she took.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Nice moves, Em!
I definitely did somethng wrong. I made a half recipe but it seemed like they needed more flour. Still edible though.
Oh, I've yet to meet a chocolate chip cookie that wasn't inedible. Unless they were totally burnt, and even then - milk.
That was the best li'l booty-shakin' I've seen all day, Aims.
I too have never met a chocolate chip cookie I didn't like.
Also, Daniel's sister just called to make sure I know this area is in a tornado watch. I'm glad she did, because I hadn't known it. I only just started hearing thunder as the phone rang. So I've got my flashlight, the phone, and a book in the cat carrier. I have the cats shut in a room where I can easily grab them when I hear the sirens, and we'll all go downstairs.
Yeah, I didn't want to wash the dishes now anyway.
Well, I made it through today. Barely. This is definitely going to be a painkiller night.
Used the TENS enough to get my shoulder feeling OK enough to make some dinner. So now I'm eating pasta and watching Chess on TV, which are the best parts of today.
Trudy, thanks for that. I know I'm more confident but they haven't seen it at work.
Although I was really pleased with how I did and one of my department co workers who was backing me up on phones today said to our boss how she wasn't sure I could handle it. We have a huge convention starting tomorrow and today and yesterday were full of phone calls, plus our regular calls and everyone (almost) is gone so I'm having to tell people they'll have to wait until they are there. My phone system clocks the total time for calls, I was on one call for 6 minutes and I had to put that call on hold at least 4 times to handle other incoming calls.
I saw the weather watches your way, Andi. You and Daniel stay safe.
Now I want chocolate chip cookies but I'm too tired to bake some. I just went out and planted a bunch of irises Owen's bus driver gave me. I'm hot and sweaty and dirty. I should really shower.
Oh, I've yet to meet a chocolate chip cookie that wasn't inedible.
True dat. I was going to make cookies a few days ago but found critters in my flour. Have yet to buy more flour.
Tell us about your wee pirate play!
A friend and I wrote a one-act musical about pirates. It's cute as can be, but my co-teacher and I got reprimanded for wanting to do it because it was a political satire and admin was Not Having It. So, we didn't get to do it.
A local community theatre got their hands on it (through a couple of sources) and loved it. And, they wanted to do some more youth theatre, so we're mounting it there.
I'm directing, my co-teacher is music director, and about 15 of our students are the cast. They are great kids and it should be a fun show.
Ban art? Oh, I think not. It will find a way to exist. Which, interestingly enough, is the theme of our wee pirate play.
ChiKat, that is so awesome! Rebel art, gotta love it!
