perhaps you could pour Kahlua or something over the ice cream
Well, I added chocolate chips, but I do also like to put amaretto on my ice cream. Sadly, they don't go as well together. I've spent the last hour outside trying to de-dirt our all-tile backyard, while throwing away stuff that has disintegrated from sun exposure and rinsing off the pots I want to take. I got lazy with the pool/beach toys and just threw them in the pool.
I'm glad you had some ice cream Stephanie. The attack on the old man sounds really nasty.
I wish this terrible sea-sick feeling would go away already. Argh.

GC, Trader Joe's has some triple-ginger snaps that are awesome for nausea; little bite sized cookies in a big plastic tub, usually with the other tubs of cookies on the shelves over the frozen food section.
Also, sometimes a mid-morning protein/fat infusion, like a little bag of peanuts or cashews, can take the edge off.
And eventually it passes. But, ugh, it's no fun.
Hey Darth Vader did live a long, long time ago. But he was also far, far away so it's more a spacographical fail than a historical fail.
I carried a ziplock baggie full of lemon slices in my purse during my first trimester - they were perfect for the subway when I felt queasy but couldn't get immediate fresh air.
watermelon jolly rogers for me.
and gingersnaps.
travel~ma and housing~ma and icecream for everyone.
I have no experience with pregnancy, but a fair amount with nausea. I swear by the ginger hard candies that they sell at Whole Foods.
