Say! look at you! You look just like me! We're very pretty.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

GC, Trader Joe's has some triple-ginger snaps that are awesome for nausea; little bite sized cookies in a big plastic tub, usually with the other tubs of cookies on the shelves over the frozen food section.

Also, sometimes a mid-morning protein/fat infusion, like a little bag of peanuts or cashews, can take the edge off.

And eventually it passes. But, ugh, it's no fun.

Coding and Sleeping

Hey Darth Vader did live a long, long time ago. But he was also far, far away so it's more a spacographical fail than a historical fail.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I carried a ziplock baggie full of lemon slices in my purse during my first trimester - they were perfect for the subway when I felt queasy but couldn't get immediate fresh air.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I have no experience with pregnancy, but a fair amount with nausea. I swear by the ginger hard candies that they sell at Whole Foods.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

On kind of a tangent, I've discovered that Haagen Dasz makes a ginger ice cream ... not sure if it would be good for nausea, but it's yummy.

Aw, GC, I'm sorry about the morning sickness. That's no fun.

Toddson, I assume the fail there is the woman in the tartan with the Flemish lion?

Also, I just woke up from a horrid dream in which Harvey suddenly was infested with fleas. I rather hope my subconscious is saying I sometimes think he's a bit of a parasite, over the possibility that might be a prophetic dream.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

There are always star wars figures at the MD Renn Faire. Hey, do your thing. Nothing will ever top the smoking pregnant woman wearing a bedazzled bra top and lame leggings, tummy our for all to see.
