This is where I mention I'm not good at looking for a job, either. And I have a pretty wide circle of friends, but that hasn't produced any results.
And while I appreciate the love and support of my friends, I do not believe for a second that "it will happen," because the world just doesn't work like that.
Sean, I know of a way for you to meet some wonderful women. But I do not think you will take me up on it. Volunteer at some kind of program for developmentally disabled adults (or kids). Stick around long enough to get to know the staff there, well enough to be able to tell which of them are on the take or just there to do the bare minimum to collect a paycheck. Ignore those. The ones who are left will be amazing, caring, passionate, creative people with excellent senses of humor - some of the best people on the planet. And some of them will be single females.
Sean, sometimes "it can happen" is all you can go by. Still a damn sight better than "it can't happen," or "it won't happen."
At least you're not a lesbian, Sean? Then you'd find out that every girl you meet has already dated your ex or your best friend AND is not interested in you. Or worse, wants to stalk you, and thereby cause lots of drama. Or something.
Am in Alaska! It is 10PM here and still quite bright outside!
I feel awful for Drew, gaah. Am crossing fingers to not have that sort of bad luck anytime soon, but I know I"m overdue for it.
How's Alaska, meara? I've wished to visit there a time or two.
Well, I'm in Anchorage. Haven't looked around much (my flight was delayed--luckily, the passenger got sick before we took off, rather than once we were in the air!), had dinner with a friend. The mountains are very close, unlike the ones in Seattle, which are more at a distance. I'm hoping there are fewer clouds in the morning, so I can see more.

Drew has now arrived back at LAX and is driving home, 18 hours after he left this morning.
He's catching a flight first thing tomorrow morning to Orlando. In theory.

I should be in bed. Tomorrow starts the testing of the new sound system in the new theater. Should be interesting.
