I feel awful for Drew, gaah. Am crossing fingers to not have that sort of bad luck anytime soon, but I know I"m overdue for it.

Well, I'm in Anchorage. Haven't looked around much (my flight was delayed--luckily, the passenger got sick before we took off, rather than once we were in the air!), had dinner with a friend. The mountains are very close, unlike the ones in Seattle, which are more at a distance. I'm hoping there are fewer clouds in the morning, so I can see more.

Drew has now arrived back at LAX and is driving home, 18 hours after he left this morning.

Poor Abby had a rough night last night-- something upset her stomach and she got good and sick. Not enough coffee to make up for cleaning a bathroom at 2:00 AM.
