[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm on my laptop. WiFi at SFO. My iPhone is plugged in and recharging.

ah, that makes sense. I was thinking you got a sneak preview at the OS 3, and I was going to be VERY jealous.

They just announced that the plane I'm supposed to be taking to LA was coming from LA and had to turn around and go back for some reason, so now it is a 2:17 PM flight pushed back to an 8:30 departure. If this actually happens it will get me to LA at about 9:30, and I have a 10:25 flight on a different airline that requires me to exit the terminal run down two terminals and re-clear security in order to board.

All is well that ends in pizza.

WTFBBQ, ND.

Drew, you need to document every step, and write a letter to the airline, & cc the FAA. This is extra ridiculous!

We're gonna need a chart for ND's journey when this is over.

And, of course, "twenty seven eight-by-ten color glossy photographs with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one..."

Oh, Drew, I am sorry about the airline crap. I know how awful it can be. United gave me a check, too, when they screwed me over entirely when I was trying to get back to my wayward puppy.

And thank you for the birthday wishes, peeps! I've had a lovely 30 hours and am tahhhhrd now. Steve is asleep on the couch so our plans of seeing "Up" or "The Hangover" tonight might not turn out. Thass okay.

I don't see the point in freaking out on the airlines on this. They overbooked and then it cascaded and from there it's been really bad luck. Summer is just crazy booking, and everyone I've dealt with has totally wanted to do anything they can, there's just nothing you can do when things are this booked. The flight I'm currently confirmed with a seat assignment for to LAX has a standby list of 86 people. The plane only holds something like 130 people total.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Oh, Drew. Best wishes for the rest of your journey.

Right now I think I've got about a 70% chance of making it back to LAX and a 40% chance of actually getting on the red eye to Orlando tonight.
