'Lies My Parents Told Me'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Torque, save a bottle for tomorrow.

I mean, they are smart and cute as hell, but the women have to spell out "FUCK ME," for these brainiacs to know that they like them.
Oh my. That defines me to a T! Can I use that in my profile? If that was in my OKcupid profile, would that come off as desperate? Stupid? Crazy? Senseless? But it Sooo describes me.

Omnis and Sean should both have any girl they want.
Bless you SJ. From your fingertips to the ladies ears. Too bad all the ladies I want are happily co-joined.

As for me? I managed to start the cleaning process by breaking down a whole pile of boxes in the corner. Flattening them out. Taking them to the recycle dumpster in the center of the development (much cooler to do at 2am). Then I cleaned out the scraps of blah from the cars back seat and trunk. Now, I'm tired, so I will watch the next episode of season 2 of Dr Who! (this doctor is much cuter than season 1).

The status is NOT quo.

(this doctor is much cuter than season 1).

Mmmm, David Tennant...

Mmmm, David Tennant...
He's not going to tempt me to catch the gay, but, I will say, yup, much cuter (most of which is his accent, I think).

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Well, The Girl won one argument over my presence, and we're just back from breakfast with the future in-laws. It may take me all day to recover, but I'm very proud of her for taking a stand over it. Also of me, for going. Next she plans to ask about some of us going to the theatre together Wednesday evening. I'll have to appear in my wheelchair, which will be interesting. Tom Stoppard's 'Arcardia', though!

He'd definitely tempt me to catch the straight. Pretty, pretty boy. Plus, a hugely fun portrayal of the Doctor.

I read somewhere that there's going to be a movie made of his Hamlet portrayal, complete with Patrick Stewart reprising his role. I never got to see it at the theatre, so this could be good.

Babylon 5 while I do bits of paperwork. Am up to season three. It started to feel a bit rushed around here, having felt very slow up til now. Want to get to Shadow War now.

Our wings are not tired.

It is good to read that you survived the breakfast, Seska. You may not win them over in a visit or two, but I hope that their love for their daughter opens their hearts.

Ack, I don't expect to win them over soon or completely. But we have specific goals, like getting them to agree to come to the wedding (in a year's time) - they've so far said they won't come - that we can work towards. The Girl seems to have woken up to the need for addressing the issue, so that is of the good.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Small steps are good. May the rest of your day be peaceful to help you recover.

What she said.

Cute is definitely not how I would describe the Ninth Doctor. But yeah, the Tenth can be. I think Tennant's fanboy sensibility was an enormous asset to his portrayal of the Doctor - as it was wonderful to be able to see facets of previous Doctors in his.

Heh. Very much so. Did you see the 'Children in Need' mini-episode special that fits between season two (I think) and the Christmas special of that year?

Oh yes. Davison is my Doctor, too. But then, I've had a great big crush on him ever since All Creatures Great and Small.

Raq, yay for the good news on the job front!
