Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

'Bring On The Night'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

You did the right thing, sj. If they're getting physical, it's dangerous for them.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, Cashmere. We had to call twice because she started banging on our door screaming at us after they left the first time. We're safely away from our apartment for the night, and right now I'm afraid to ever go back there.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

{{{{{{sj&TCG}}}}}} make sure you notify the landlord. At the apartment complex I used to work front desk at, that would have gotten them the boot. The landlord may choose not to take action, but if s/he's got a lick of sense, then there is some commitment to removing tennants who are violent, and threatening other tennants.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

It is seriously turning out to be the week to end all frakking weeks. A bus scraped the side of my car, then kept right on driving and didn't stop to give me insurance details. Fortunately there's not much damage, but, dude. Five years with no accidents, then two in a week. The week is cursed. But never mind, because I've woken up feeling insanely cheerful. I'm off to take over the world.

Steph L, Kristin, and everyone who's said helpful things, thanks for your good advice. We are working on an approach along these lines. I'm sure we'll get there eventually...! (I sat in the Terminator movie last night thinking "Meh. Think they've got problems. They don't have *in-laws*.")

Zenkitty, OK, that's quite a whammy to hit parents with. I might tell my Girl to relate that kind of situation to her parents as a "This what I could be doing!" way. I hope you were able to sort things out with your family in the end.

erikaj, heh - not a dude. You don't know Voyager? Seska's an evil chick with a grudge. In her earliest incarnation, she's cute. Not so much when she's a Cardassian.

sj, that situation sounds scary. I hope it gets sorted soon. You definitely did the right thing.

Wish me safe driving. I'm going to see my sister - the one with the adorable kid. Toddlers are awesome (as long as they're happy). The kid can take over the world with me.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Seska, have fun storming the castle taking over the world!

I'm going to be taking over souvenir shopping today.

Geez, Seska, I'm glad you weren't hurt, but it sure is a crappy thing to happen to your car, and to have a second one in a week is just extra crappy. I hope the kid successfully takes your mind off it.

d, souvenir shopping? I can't remember where you are that you get to do that.

I'm in the south of France at the moment. My parents live in a little town outside of Nice, and they just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary so we all came for that.

I like to go to Tourrettes sur Loup for souvenir shopping because it's beautiful and ancient and not so touristy. Plus they have the Olive Wood products shop which has neat stuff.

“Not dead yet!”

Okay, Universe, time to back off the Bitches.

Safe driving Seska.

I didn't sleep much lasr night. We are going to call our landlord today, but other than that I have no idea what to do. My stomach is a giant vat of acid.
