Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

'Why We Fight'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

And here I was excited that I made hummus!!

Hummus is exciting! You should make them a hummus wedding cake.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

"ND, you ass, you actually proposed ONLY in Bureaucrazy?"

No, see that was genius because that triggered Lightbulbs and she was obliged to go check it out.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

My WTF bad-brain moment of the day came as I walked up to the grocery store customer service counter to buy Powerball tickets - Daniel and I figure if we score one of those really big jackpots we can finance Buffista Island. I asked for Super Lotto tickets. The cashier looked at me funny for a second, after which I corrected myself. Minnesota doesn't do SuperLotto. In fact, I'm pretty sure I haven't lived in a state that does in a good 12 years.

So I said, "Geez, isn't that straight out of the past? Next thing you know I'll be wearing deely-boppers and rainbow suspenders again."

And then I had to explain what deely-boppers were to the nice young lady.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

So I just saw Drew & Pix's relationship status on facebook had changed and I got verklempt all over again. Hee.

The acceptance happened between (half hour music) lessons for us, so I told the SO about it briefly between students. So I wasn't clear on who it was and he thought that someone who hadn't ever met except on the boards had proposed. Hee.

When I told the whole story on the way home he was relieved and liked it a lot. He also declared that he thinks he would like your sense of humor, ND. Which I think is true; I think you guys would get along really well.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

So I've already called the doctor, but someone reassure me that it's not totally overreacting to be worried about the combination of leg pain and blurred vision as possible side effects from the Pill?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Dana, NOT an overreaction! Those things could be very dangerous and you need to speak to a doctor about it.

And the doctor recommends going to the ER. Lovely.

Better safe than sorry. Good luck, Dana.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Please be careful, Dana! I had a cousin who had a stroke at the age of 25 due to her BC pills. (She recovered fully, but it was really scary.)

OMG, I finally logged in for the first time since yesterday afternoon, and squeee for ND and Kristin!!!! I'm crying here--so cool to see the proposal-watch-'n-post!

Congrats on your graduation, vw!! You looked so happy and wonderful in your cap and gown.

I'm fine. Went to the ER, got an ultrasound, no blood clot. It's probably leg pain due to fucking up my back and blurred vision because my vision is generally crappy.
