I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

So I've already called the doctor, but someone reassure me that it's not totally overreacting to be worried about the combination of leg pain and blurred vision as possible side effects from the Pill?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Dana, NOT an overreaction! Those things could be very dangerous and you need to speak to a doctor about it.

And the doctor recommends going to the ER. Lovely.

Better safe than sorry. Good luck, Dana.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Please be careful, Dana! I had a cousin who had a stroke at the age of 25 due to her BC pills. (She recovered fully, but it was really scary.)

OMG, I finally logged in for the first time since yesterday afternoon, and squeee for ND and Kristin!!!! I'm crying here--so cool to see the proposal-watch-'n-post!

Congrats on your graduation, vw!! You looked so happy and wonderful in your cap and gown.

I'm fine. Went to the ER, got an ultrasound, no blood clot. It's probably leg pain due to fucking up my back and blurred vision because my vision is generally crappy.

Oh Dana, how scary.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Feel-better wishes, Dana.

Have almost finished the *final* paper of my MA (other than the dissertation). Have been struck by terror that it's nothing but overly wordy crap, but am hoping it will thereby mystify my teachers enough to get me a reasonable mark. I hate social policy. Am getting back to applied sociology the minute this is done, and never looking back.

Minor dyslexia edit.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Whew there's nothing like a quick discharge.

At hospital, people.
