Come on out, River. The nice man wants to kidnap you.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Yay for both of you, askye!

it was, like some collective brain decided all at once that MCR was LJ icon-worthy. [Which they are.]

I just felt that this statement needed to be repeated.

(What? I, like Teppy, had no idea who Jon and Kate were. I'd rather focus on MCR.)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I'm so happy for you, Askye, and you too, SLNRLBF.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Maybe my memory has compressed time but I feel like I found out the "teenagers scare the living shit out of me" song was by MCR and that My Chemical Romance was the same band on the same day. I found out there was bandfic the next day and I learned about Umbrella Academy maybe two days later.

I wanted to say something earlier but I wasn't sure how to phrase it. er... Happy Someday Engagement, Askye!

I am loving these Sesame Street clips. We're the same age! I'm surprised I don't remember Llama girl. The lyrics sound like Bob Dorough. I think he did write Ladybugs' Picnic, though. And probably a couple others in the top 10.

Sorry for the triple post. Yes it's me! And I'm drunk again!

I'm a little grumpy at dating sites today. I'm seriously beginning to feel like ALL of the sites are overrun with spammers pretending to be women. None of them are real. They're all spam bots.

I'm glad I can't afford to pay for the full account where you can actually MAKE CONTACT with another person, because I'd be idiotic enough to pay money just for the privilege of talking to more spambots.

I've met some real people through OK Cupid.

You're female. I have no problem believing most of the men are real.

Okay, yes, that means some of the women are real too, but it's the ratio of real women to spambots that makes me feel like this online dating stuff is a complete waste of time.

Oh yeah- I keep forgetting. It is hard to meet women on line.

Did we know Neil Patrick Harris is the Fairy Shoe Person?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh yeah- I keep forgetting. It is hard to meet women on line.

This is interesting. I got the opposite impression, in Australia at least - or more precisely, there were stacks of men, but most seemed to be more interested in hook-ups than relationships, and seemed none too adroit at going about it.

Ok, this isn't from personal experience obviously, but that's what I heard from some of the women I met online. (I mostly used paid subscription sites, I guess that would make spamming a costly venture.)
