Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

Have you tried TENS, Seska?

Yeah. Never had any real effect from it, except it sometimes aggrevating my nerve pain. Annoying, as I hear it works for a lot of people. I'm using heat patches - they help.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Re: egg replacements

awesome suggestions! i've stumbled through a decade or so of egg-free baking with just 1/4 vegetable oil in place of each egg, but that does weird things to textures sometimes :( I've had some massive cupcake failures due to experimenting with diff veg oils.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

If you want eggless cupcakes, there's a cookbook called Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World that has great recipes. A few different varieties of regular chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, and then a whole bunch of interesting flavors, like s'mores or pina colada. There's a pistachio rosewater cupcake recipe that I keep meaning to make, but it uses soy yogurt, and I always seem to have either pistachios or yogurt, but never both at the same time.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Shir, good luck, hope you get the sweet gig. Just woke up from fluffy, and hoping sleep will return again in bed. Sorry, no Skyping tonight.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I have found my book! Hurrah!

...of course, now my bank card appears to not be working.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yay Fay!

In other news of yay, I now officially weigh what my driver's license says I do. Which is about 37 lbs down from where I started the year.

You guys have your *weight* on your drivers' licenses?? That would freak me out. And also be inconvenient. I'm a medication-induced weight yoyo.

Well, yes, but it's self-reported and not checked or updated or anything. Hence the noteworthiness of it actually reflecting reality - for a lot of us the DL is more of "what's the lowest number I can semi-plausibly claim and not feel like shit about" than anything true to life.
