meara, you make a good zombie. Your picture could be on their recruiting brochure.
Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Can't think of anything to do that will cheer me up, or at least take my mind off it.

meara, you definitely are a fabulous zombie.
And the sun has peaked out a bit. And I have had butter pecan ice cream with fresh strawberries and chocolate sauce.
I feel much better now.
Hang in there WS. The sun does eventually come to MN. I remember that. I also remember that there was snow the weekend my parents bought a house up there...it was the last weekend of May. I remember asking them why in all of tarnation they wanted to move there.
Ok. That probably wasn't overly helpful. Let me try again. YAY ice cream!
I hope there's no bad news past the ovarian cyst, meara. A ruptured ovarian cyst is quite bad enough. As I'm sure I've said before, I've had a ruptured ovarian cyst and it was the most painful thing ever. Fortunately, for me, they just had to give me a bottle of percocet and ultrasound my insides a couple of times to make sure it was reabsorbed.
I have many healthy foods in my house. I don't want any of them. So far I've had a leftover slice of pizza, an apple and a granola bar.
I wish I could send you some sun, WS. I have sun and bluebirds nesting in my back yard. It's positively Disneyesque.
aaand the Grand Prix must be about to start. Just heard some MAJOR flyover. I'm guessing fighter jets.

Awesome.
I have spent the day at my sister's family's home. We are going out for an early dinne, and then I'm driving home. Just got up from a nap.
so. Out of curiosity. the three backslashes. Does that disable formatting on the board? Is that how folks do the faux end tags? (OK, I guess not, as I just tried to do it, and it didn't work. I hope it didn't cause an error that requires stompies)
You'll like this, omnis.
I plug my iPod into the sound board for speaker check, which means I can pick whatever song I want.
The reed player in the band for the musical I'm mixing gets there about the same time I do. He's been jamming along with the tunes I pick when he does his warm up.
It brings a smile to my face every time.
Yesterday, it was Holst's Jupiter, today we jazzed it ip a bit with Les McCann and Eddie Harris, Compared to What.
