Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired

That character did one thing, and one thing only. He flew. He did it well. He did it drunk. So. much. fun.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Hell, I want to see if you guys are serious about pursuing ReUnification War II: Electric Revolution Boogaloo.

Oh yes.

And if you can pull it off.

Oh yes.

Reynolds is a chump.

Our wings are not tired

I have no doubt we'll pull something off.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

What's the problem, Aims? Do you need to be able to derive it, remember it, understand it?

My car is ready, my DH has gone to pick it up so I don't have to, I have done some work today for which I will get paid, and I have cleaned off the table on which I did said work so it can be used for other things over the weekend. Yay!

That's what she said.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Hey ND, are you free of the rodent boat and back home, or are things just winding down? I've lost track.

I say this because we didn't see much of you when you were on Das Craxy Boot schedule.

I'm actually back in LA and not stuck on the rodent boat. Yeah, I kinda forget that I must have been pretty dark here since the beginning of February.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I have no doubt we'll pull something off.

That's what she said.

Beat me to it.

I have no doubt you maniacs will do something...

...and it'll be fun seeing how badly y'all can fuck up not just yourselves, but the 'verse in the process.

Our wings are not tired

That's what we're best at, fucking up the 'verse. In fact, next time we make planet fall I'm painting that on the side of the ship.

Fucking up the 'verse, one system at a time.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I suspect that there are Buffistas who could teach you the quad. form. better than any teacher you've had, and who would either help you care or, alternately, not really care if you didn't (but still help you pass the class, guilt-free).

Oh I know. Hil and Debet and P-C!! both have been invaluable to me during quizes and homework time, but I think this is one of those things that I need a human sitting with me to show me the steps.

What's the problem, Aims? Do you need to be able to derive it, remember it, understand it?

Yes. All of those. Like I said, I can read it, I can DO it (mostly) but I'm finding that by not having a human being in front of me, I'm not learning ANY of the shortcuts, which is how I manage to get through math.
