how hard is the software to tweak for new rulesets? According to the website it can be done, but is it a herculean task?
Before I had a kid, I might have been okay with spending the time, but probably not. Looked like it would take a long time to do the coding.
Kloogeworks
I looked at this before settling on Fantasy Grounds, and hated it. It's ugly, it's hard to find information on the page, it basically would make Tufte kill himself so he could spin in his grave.
Aftermath
SUCKTASTIC.
How did I not know about this?
I haven't read it in years, but it is of the good.
Rest assured, it is still Nifty.
We had to give Mac Eukanuba because she had a delicate tummy and that cost over $1/lb. With the two dogs eating roughly a 32lb bag every three weeks, food ran us $35 a month.
We feed the dogs Iams, and that runs probably $35 a month. The cats get Iams dry, but only a small amount, mixed with canned food. For some reason the brand of canned food doesn't really matter, so we get whatever's cheapest. Odd.
As for people food, we're going to get Thai in about 15 minutes. Pad Thai and Pad See Eeiw. Nom nom nom.
Yeah, looking at the Kloogeworks site it seemed heavy on "I Assure You We Are Made of Awesome!" and light on the actual documentation or instructions or news.
So, Raq, you strongly endorse Fantasy Grounds?
Rest assured, it is still Nifty.
Ha! He did more Torg Potter stories!
He's up to Book Four.
Torg Potter and Giblets of Fire, I believe.
Also, Sean and Thomash (how we miss ye, Thomash) turned me on to Order of the Stick a while back. Have you read? Awesome gaming humor comic.
SUCKTASTIC.
With an endorsement like that I think we've found our next game. Maybe we can play it on Kloogewerks.
High school was the last time I played aftermath, it's doesn't surprise me that it actually sucks.
This is digging into the dark recesses of my backbrain, but I seem to recall that Morrow Project was surpassed in useless technical detail in the name of "realism" only by Cyberpunk 2020: Friday Night Firefight.
Which, I will tell you, was NO GODDAMN FUN WHATSOFUCKIN'EVER.
Also, Sean and Thomash (how we miss ye, Thomash) turned me on to Order of the Stick a while back. Have you read? Awesome gaming humor comic.
I've seen it linked.
Any fans of the
Metal Gear Solid
series should check out The Last Days of FOXHOUND. Really hilarious.
