ND, I suck, because I was all stressed out and brainsucked over unemployment vs. work stuff and didn't wish you a happy birthday yesterday, but since it sounds like the big celebration isn't happening until this weekend anyway, can I toss a late wish onto the already-vast pile?

Vortex, you rock! I'm stumped on b-day presents for my sister (tomorrow) and now I think I'll bring her my second Tivo which is sitting there virtually unused. Since I've got the two, this one is only like $6.95 a month so maybe I'll just keep paying it and make that part of the present. I'll still need to do something else but that might get me some breathing room.
Especially since I just spent $600 at the vet. And that's not the half of it. Do you have any idea what prescription dog chow for a 100 lb dog is going to cost? Me either, but I'll be finding out. Also, the words "knee replacement" were uttered. Shoot me now.

o ya, was going to bitch about office mates. I have an excuse for not changing out the 5 gallon water bottle... I CAN"T LIFT IT. what's your excuse? It was running low last night during tech, so I flipped the water bottle to show, hey it needs changing even tho there is still water in the cooler part. At 2:30, the cooler was bone dry and the (empty) bottle was still flipped on top. They didn't change it till 4pm! C'mon people! /rant.
