I'll have to go dust off the copy of Aftermath and see what the ruleset is like. I honestly can't remember that clearly. It probably sucks. Oooo, I also want to dust off my copy of Torg.
Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
From Sluggy?
GAAAAAH.
I will never be set up. And there are seriously like FIFTEEN systems. And I haven't even TRIED to set up two of them (that I"ll use most!) yet. This is RIDIC. So are Indian helpdesks.
good luck Kristin!!
and meara, I sympathize and hope this all becomes a bad dream
Happy birthday, beth! What is Matt planning to do for you tonight to celebrate your bethness?
Happy birthday, bonny! And Bartleby has got to be the best birthday present both of you ever, ever got.
ND, I suck, because I was all stressed out and brainsucked over unemployment vs. work stuff and didn't wish you a happy birthday yesterday, but since it sounds like the big celebration isn't happening until this weekend anyway, can I toss a late wish onto the already-vast pile?
The gaming talk is somehow very cute and endearing, even though I understand none of it except for "very 80s" and "post apocalyptic."
Vibing "Kristin is obviously awesome at leadership and must be chosen" vibes at everyone else in your school.
I have done just about exactly nothing today. It feels very nice. Should I try to slip in an episode of Supernatural before I leave to pick Matilda up (Perkins, who definitely does not suck, kindly lent me the S1 DVDs), or is that too much like doing something?
Oh, that's funny. Especially if she used those words.
She did not, unfortunately.
Even so.
Vortex, you rock! I'm stumped on b-day presents for my sister (tomorrow) and now I think I'll bring her my second Tivo which is sitting there virtually unused. Since I've got the two, this one is only like $6.95 a month so maybe I'll just keep paying it and make that part of the present. I'll still need to do something else but that might get me some breathing room.
Especially since I just spent $600 at the vet. And that's not the half of it. Do you have any idea what prescription dog chow for a 100 lb dog is going to cost? Me either, but I'll be finding out. Also, the words "knee replacement" were uttered. Shoot me now.
ND, Sean...Daniel has also recommend we check out Kloogeworks for our online tabletop RPG needs. Either you guys ever hear of it?
the problem with catching up while in tech, I forget half of what I wanted to comment on.
Happy B-day Beth & Bonny
KT, much luck for Monday! Squee! You can do it!
ND & MM, is this something to do with whats going on in Lightbulbs? Not caught up in there yet. Not to say I'm not interested. Would love to pick up Serenity again! Not to mention get back into our session with Sean & DnD.
Aimee: 1) much {{{}}} for your sister. 2) good for you on verifying.
um. there was more. I blame tech.
o ya, was going to bitch about office mates. I have an excuse for not changing out the 5 gallon water bottle... I CAN"T LIFT IT. what's your excuse? It was running low last night during tech, so I flipped the water bottle to show, hey it needs changing even tho there is still water in the cooler part. At 2:30, the cooler was bone dry and the (empty) bottle was still flipped on top. They didn't change it till 4pm! C'mon people! /rant.
Ugh, brenda! Your poor pooch! What's the brand of chow? We had to give Mac Eukanuba because she had a delicate tummy and that cost over $1/lb. With the two dogs eating roughly a 32lb bag every three weeks, food ran us $35 a month.
Knee replacement is getting easier and hopefully cheaper for dogs. We checked hip replacement for Sam but fortunately, he's small enough that we won't need to if his hip continues to get worse--they do a surgery that is cheaper and easier to recover from where they remove the ball & let the cartilege serve. They don't really make replacement hips for dogs under 50lbs, at least they're not that common.
