Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

move out and draw fire

What we did was buy two full (sometimes I DM and sometimes R does), and then one of the other play-never-DM guys bought another full (because he could), so it worked out well, especially since player configuration tends to change based on the game.

We haven't used it in yonks, because it's really tied to the 3.5 ruleset, which we dumped in favor of Savage Worlds, and because when we were in Athens, we'd have to start about 8:00 pm and gamers in California would have to start early in the morning.

Our wings are not tired

I think that's the direction we're heading. Our current D&D campaign is 3.5, but we're also looking at trying to run Serenity on it, how hard is the software to tweak for new rulesets? According to the website it can be done, but is it a herculean task? Also, if you already have it, maybe we should convince you to join our merry band.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Yeah, if we could tweak the sumbitch for Serenity AND S4, that'd be awesome.

I'm also looking at collecting some of the Mutants and Masterminds stuff, so a d20 tweak would be desirable.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hate that, meara. There's got to be abetter solution than sitting on the steps everytime you have a delivery!

That could be months down the line, though, given how indecisive and neurotic and frugal I am.

Heh, fair enough. If you decide to make the move, do let me know. My DH is oddly fond of Nissan Sentras and it's starting to look like having a second car would be a good idea even if it hardly ever gets driven.

Yep. I'd love to go retro and dust of my ancient edition of Aftermath. I wonder how hard that would be to adapt.

Never played Aftermath. What's it like?

The status is NOT quo.

x-post with Natter:

In other job news, I am being interviewed by a slew of my colleagues and bosses on Monday for the 10th grade class dean position. Meep. The position is basically a class advisor--I'd have a slightly reduced teaching load, a tiny raise, and become the main coordinator/liaison for the grade.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Heh, okay. My uncle, for some bizarre reason, is suggesting I give the fucking car to him (for my cousin) rather than buying it back from me since he made me buy it from him.

Even my mom is like, that's whack.

I didn't realize!
