Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Looks like $39.95 but if we buy the copies all together it appears that we can get a discount. I think on this end I'll need at least one full and probably 2 or 3 Lites.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

(((Aim's sister))) I hate infections worse than cancer.

Sending Erin all good and safe surgery and recovery vibes. If you gotta go through it, you might as well have bragging rights, right?

Felicitations on the Anniversary of Your Natal Day, Bonny! And Adoption Day, Bartleby! You guys really are good for each other, and I wish you many more good years together.

Your tenants should be glad you're on the ball, Aims.

Banks are the tool of the dark lord of all evil, but then you guys knew that. I'll cut your hair and babysit your kids if you'll tinker with my car's engine and change the oil.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Awww... they made a advertisement wih my beloved instructor [link]

He's just not hard to look at. (And he's not that scary with us)

The status is NOT quo.

Happy Birthday and Bartleby Day, Bonny!

GAAAH.

I got FedExed something. First off, I was out of town, so I didn't get the first two doortags. I had a friend run over and look for the number, I called them, said redeliver Friday, all good.

But my buzzer doesn't work. So the guy just...stuck another doortag on saying I was unavailable and left. I had put up a "buzzer doesn't work, call me" thing, but apparently that's not good enough for him. I was like "How am I supposed to get anythign delivered?" and the lady was like "Sit on the steps?" Thanks, lady.

And now I"m supposed to go the FedEx facility between 5:30PM (when the lady said the driver will likely be back) and 7pm (when the close) (note that this is halfway across town and during rush hour) or they will send it back> GAAAAAAAH

Plus, various computer systems I'm supposed to have access to are continuing to hate me and not let me login and stuff. GRRRRR.

move out and draw fire

What we did was buy two full (sometimes I DM and sometimes R does), and then one of the other play-never-DM guys bought another full (because he could), so it worked out well, especially since player configuration tends to change based on the game.

We haven't used it in yonks, because it's really tied to the 3.5 ruleset, which we dumped in favor of Savage Worlds, and because when we were in Athens, we'd have to start about 8:00 pm and gamers in California would have to start early in the morning.

I think that's the direction we're heading. Our current D&D campaign is 3.5, but we're also looking at trying to run Serenity on it, how hard is the software to tweak for new rulesets? According to the website it can be done, but is it a herculean task? Also, if you already have it, maybe we should convince you to join our merry band.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Yeah, if we could tweak the sumbitch for Serenity AND S4, that'd be awesome.

I'm also looking at collecting some of the Mutants and Masterminds stuff, so a d20 tweak would be desirable.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hate that, meara. There's got to be abetter solution than sitting on the steps everytime you have a delivery!

That could be months down the line, though, given how indecisive and neurotic and frugal I am.

Heh, fair enough. If you decide to make the move, do let me know. My DH is oddly fond of Nissan Sentras and it's starting to look like having a second car would be a good idea even if it hardly ever gets driven.

Yep. I'd love to go retro and dust of my ancient edition of Aftermath. I wonder how hard that would be to adapt.
