[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Erin, when is this all happening?

I'm actually going to be in the area next weekend. I have no idea if I'll have time to get away (big family gathering for the nephew's baptism), but I'd love to try!

Ok. Well, what's the possibility of stealing you away for lunch next Friday?

And completely unrelated, I haven't done the I-hate-group-work rant for a few days, so I think it's time for a new version.

PEOPLE, you were to get me your annotated bibliography entries by Tuesday so I could have the compiled AB by Thursday. NOW is not a good time to be asking *how* to create an annotated bibliography entry. Grrrrrr!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

So, what I really want to probe the hivemind for it: anyone ever had one of these things, how long does it take to recover from a chick slice and dice?

I didn’t have a cyst, but I did have fibroid surgery. It was basically a mini c section (smaller incision). I was fine after two weeks, but I attribute that to doing NOTHING the first week. I mean, it was a big day when I moved from the bed to the chair.

I know I'll want to be in my apartment soon after I get better, but I really don't think my folks would LET me stay by myself. (yes, I'm 35.)

I said that I was going to stay with my parents because it wasn’t fair to my mother to make her sleep on the couch, because I know that she wouldn’t go home. I had to wait until she was out of the house to sneak and have a shower after three days. She made my dad stay with me, and I was able to convince him that I could take a shower by myself.

Sorry to be all me, me, me -- I went into work today and started sobbing, I don't know why, I"m really quite okay with this, except for the time and money.

It’s still stressful, sweetie.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

{{Erin}} I like your recovery plan a lot.

Happy birthday and Bartleby-day, bonny!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

OMG - really? Is there anything better than cold, leftover Chinese food? Specifically sweet and soup chicken and veggie lomein?

Because books.

Erin! Dude, that's ... really sort of fascinating. I'm so sorry about the money and time stress, though. ::hugs Erin:: I should write you some porn for your recuperation!

Unfortunately, vw, as a teacher, there is no stealing away for me.

But I do get off at 3 on Friday...coffee?

Hmmm...I'll have to see if that late will work. We have to go to Omaha for a concert in the evening. I'm not sure what time we have to leave... I'll check and e-mail you.
