Thanks! I'm all nervous about waiting to find out what my salary is. It's not at the discretion of the people hiring me... they give the position a classification (in this case "Assistant III"), then send the resume of the person they've chosen to HR, who compares that person's education and work experience to the education and work experience of everyone else already in that department with that classification, and the salary level gets assigned based on that.
