"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Sorry for such extensive ranting about a pretty unimportant subject

Beer can never be unimportant. Beer brought us civilization. The Founding Fathers drank beer, often for breakfast. One of the first buildings at Harvard was a brewery, to make sure students had beer. Plymouth is located where it is in part because the Mayflower captain didn't want to keep looking for another site because he was afraid the ship would run out of beer.

Trust my rage

It's bad when I know more about their programs than they do.

I hate being in this situation because I'm always sure I know what I"m talking about but, just maybe, I'm wrong, because after all, they are the experts, and maybe I'm going to get screwed, and on and on.

I hope everything gets sorted out correctly and quickly!

Ok. Now I'm in tears. Stupid people.

Apparently, the pay stubs I sent in showed that I only worked 26 hours in a month rather than 40, which is why I was denied. That's because there was a break at the school and blah blah blah. They don't care. So, I have to get a letter from the family I just started working for, saying how many hours a month I work for them and how much they pay me.

I asked if there was any way to get around this, because this requires me telling the family that I'm technically disabled and getting assistance, which I don't like to broadcast, especially to people I'm working for. Her response, "Well, ma'am you are disabled, and they should probably know that anyways."

Fuck you.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Her response, "Well, ma'am you are disabled, and they should probably know that anyways."

The only possible positive spin I can put on that is that she was thinking of a kind of disability which might cause unexpected problems with work, and that she obviously JUST WASN'T REALLY THINKING AT ALL, but even then it's a stretch and totally inappropriate. And she should NOT be working there without being able to avoid such idiotic comments.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What Sox said. That is way over any line of acceptable behavior.
