I want this house near where Jessica lives.
Oh man that's pretty. But I'm pretty sure it's too far east for the school district I want to be in. (And also, you know, $1.7 million. Details...)
[eta: This one, on the other hand, has a wine cellar! And is closer to the park! OMGWANT. Anyone got $2.5m they could lend me? I'd let you use the billiard room...]
Tom and I are quite fond of the Gulu-Gulu. Good place for lunch. Has fancy coffee, good beer, and really good hummus. It's hipster waitstaff service, so you shouldn't be in a rush or anything. I like the space, too.
Seriously, everyone buy homes in Salem! Let my loss be your gain!
Signed, we will never, ever move.
Do you know that ita has been looking for those for a really long time?
I do. Heck, given that the inside of the toes is worn down to metal on these, she's not the only one hunting.
Wow, Salem is cheap!
It really is... and I think there's so much value, as well, with the local businesses, historic neighborhoods and access to public transportation.
skipping ahead to say Happy Birthday Drew!
Seattle doesn't look all that expensive from where I'm sitting in DC (which looks cheap compared to Berkeley).

Okay, so it is the cardboard cut out they have in the gift shop of the Basilica. If I were an undergraduate here, I'd be plotting how to steal it and what to do with it once I had it.
Happy birthday, Drew!
Oooh, shoe shopping. Which I do not need to do, because I bought two pairs of new shoes at DSW this past weekend.
A friend of mine was trying to convince me to move to Salem. Then she up and moved away from there! But I do think it would be fun to live there.

Good to know. And OMG, I was just checking their web-site again, and they have Ommegang 3 Philosophers! Love! I'm also intrigued by the Ommegang Hennepin they have on draft.

This is a recent development. I really thought I was going to be priced out of the area when I bought, but now, maybe not. I also wonder if Beverly is experiencing a similar downturn.
