Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

In general, the Boston area is still doing OK as far as job market is concerned. Lots of stuff going on in the region.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

during the halloween season you could get a job yelling about BURNINATING THE WITCHES!!!!

He already has this job. Sadly, noone pays him to bitch about me.

...

Beat me to it.

I'm looking at all these Salem sites in my pimping efforts and I'm falling in love with Salem all over again! It's a city! It's on the water! It's historical! It has great beer! There are big boats and old houses! It's easy commuting to Boston (seriously, it takes me 1 hour door to door for my commute, and that could be less if you work closer to North Station than I do.)

Siiigh... and summer in Salem is the best.

You would also have access to Tom's homebrew...

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Man, now *I* want to move to Salem! I could totally afford that house!

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Mentioning houses made me do a little virtual shopping in Seattle again...

And I want this house: [link]

The very first thing I'd do is repaint it something less, um, monochromatic and minty, but I want this house. Too bad we're not shopping until 2009, and that's assuming the inheritance comes through at the level we currently expect...
