Suzi, when I was in college, I test drove a used car from a private owner. I drove it into town and pulled into the nearest mechanic (it was an hour away from our home town, so I didn't know anyone close by). I asked if they ran diagnostics on cars and they said yes, for $25. Best $25 I ever spent. The mechanic told me it was a great car and I bought it. I drove that thing for 8 years (and it was already 5 years old when I bought it).

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
A lot of mechanics will do a pre-sale inspection for reasonable cost - under a hundred last I did it, though more than $25. Totally worth it.
Thank y'all so much. I pretty much copied the last bunch of posts and sent them to K-Bug. She says THANKS!
Suzi, why a Taurus and not a Japanese model? Just curious.
t flops
I am a bad, bad person. I canceled my doctor's appointment at the last minute because I just couldn't do it. Motivate myself to go, I mean. There's a small cancellation fee, and right now? Worth it.
Iris = sick again. yet another mongo fever. and her school is closed on Friday, so even if this is a miraculously short one, she will have been there 2-3 out of the last 10 school days. Which I pay for why?
Here's my hair this morning (brown).
And a little bit ago. Not the best shot to show off the streakiness, but it's okay. I'll try to get a better picture in the sunlight tomorrow. (What I didn't say in the photo description is that my dopey expression is due to some enthusiastic amorousness on The Boy's part about 45 minutes before the picture was taken. Apparently yes, he *really* likes me blonde....)
You look fabulous streaky! (And go team boy!!)
go team boy!!
I'd say it's more go team me....
Love it, Teppy!
DH surprised me by taking some of my own artwork in to have it framed and matted. And he took my favorite poster--the first folio poster that I got at The Globe Theatre in London--and got it matted and framed, too.
Sox, oof. That sucks.
