Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Scola should definitely change his name to Scrappie.

He should! Because then we can be homophonic twins.

I still liked the idea of all of us changing our name to Allyson when she was worried about newbies coming to site after reading her book.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

HFS.

This place has gotten so dysfunctional.

A colleague of mine was just fired without any warning period or opportunity to improve performance issues. Granted, none of those are required for non-union staff, but they still usually happen unless you're doing something blatantly criminal or unethical. And the way it was handled...I should probably save the details for a friendslocked LJ post written from my home computer. Suffice it to say it's messed up.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Thanks. It's just such a crazy situation. In some ways I'm pretty calm about it, since I'm basically a spectator, but...it's shedding an interesting light on some people around here.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have someone's sternum on my entertainment centre. It doesn't bother me as much as it possibly should.

In that booing scenario I'd have been reacting to the people's presence and absence, first and foremost. It's a lovely feeling when the high muckety mucks aren't around, even when you like said muckers.
