Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

HFS.

This place has gotten so dysfunctional.

A colleague of mine was just fired without any warning period or opportunity to improve performance issues. Granted, none of those are required for non-union staff, but they still usually happen unless you're doing something blatantly criminal or unethical. And the way it was handled...I should probably save the details for a friendslocked LJ post written from my home computer. Suffice it to say it's messed up.

Thanks. It's just such a crazy situation. In some ways I'm pretty calm about it, since I'm basically a spectator, but...it's shedding an interesting light on some people around here.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have someone's sternum on my entertainment centre. It doesn't bother me as much as it possibly should.

In that booing scenario I'd have been reacting to the people's presence and absence, first and foremost. It's a lovely feeling when the high muckety mucks aren't around, even when you like said muckers.

Someone want to clean out my fridge for me?...Really , it isn't gross... there just isn't room in there for stuff. Too many not quite finished containers that could be tossed. Old, but not moldy...

I didn't think so

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

beth, my fridge is in need as well. So whom ever volunteers for you, can you send them my way when you are done?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I still have to do the full kitchen clean before Passover. It's still scaring me.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It is even older than Shisher and Iyak, but I do sometimes miss your former tag in which your husband muses on the call of the wild pancake (or lack thereof).

Yeah, I liked that one. Kept it immortalized somewhere.

Our wings are not tired.

I've always pronounced Amych as a shortened version of Amy-child. With a Southern accent.

Yay, Glam! Curiosity got the best of me. It looks like we have ChiKat to thank for the more fitting name. It was a hit right off. ChiKat "Spike's Bitches 31: We're Motivated Go-getters." Jul 25, 2006 11:35:33 am PDT
