I think teenagers booing an absent dean or principal is not only normal but pretty healthy. I'd rather have people suspicious of authority. This is awesome, Aims! It used to drive me crazy when I worked at the bookstore when parents would only let kids read "real books" instead of what interested them. It never seemed like a good way of encouraging children to enjoy reading.

I love to boooooo umpires and refs. I have never boooed a member of any team of which I am a fan. I HAVE booed pro players who have been thrown in jail for beating up their wives/girlfriends (Brett Myers, Lawrence Phillips, Wil Cordero, etc).
