Pfft. It's "am-itch" and "am-ith." Though sometimes, for no known reason, it's "Amy chuh."

And I just realized that I'm now so used to swapping board names with real names, and that some people have cycled back and forth between the two so often, that in Scrappy and Lee's cases I don't even know for certain which ones they're currently using and it doesn't matter; both sets of names are so deeply embedded in my brain that I automatically "read" both no matter which one actually shows up on screen. My lack of confusion is deeply confusing to me.

Okay, so tomorrow is the 5-year anniversary of my back surgery. Seriously. Five years. And I still haven't gotten tired of talking about it.

What I really want, to commemorate it, is a vertebra. Preferably a cast model, rather than the nifty rubbery models that doctors have to show their patients where exactly all the pain is originating.

So I found The Bone Room. I can get a cast of a vertebra for $5, or....an actual human vertebra for $20.

Would it be utterly creepy and ooky to get a real human vertebra?

They have nifty jewelryas well, including earrings made from mink penis bones (scroll down).
