Dh flew to the Portland area today. He always calls when his plane lands. His plane has been on the ground over 4 hours and no call. But really, there are no fluttery panicy thoughts. really .

Spike ,'Sleeper'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We're now finally being discharged after being told two hours ago that we were supposed to be discharged yesterday.
I had to cause a bit of a scene in the nurses station to get somebody to finally pull her IV and issue discharge papers. I'm angry and ashamed and irritated as fuck.

You have every right to be angry, and no reason to be ashamed. The people who should be ashamed are the ones who didn't do what they were supposed to.

Nodding at Ginger. Sean, don't feel badly for getting testy. It was stupid of them to stress you guys out by dicking you around that way. Feh.
Per yesterday. Liv fits into a doll-sized stroller.

This sounds like almost every discharge my mom has gone through over the last few years - more than I can count. Seems to be the way too many hospitals function.
She was ready to walk out of one hospital WITH the hep-lock still in her hand and AMA. I had the car idling down stairs and K-Bug was holding the elevator. Surprisingly fast, a nurse found all the stuff and got her signed out officially and pulled the IV.
