The couple I'm buying for went to Georgia Tech. I like to think their decor is not black and gold. They've asked for several gardening things, so my current thought is that I'm going to decorate a pot and fill it with things like trowels and plant markers.

Yeah the blue/white/red combo was pretty basic looking. I think her towels were white with blue lettering and his were blue with red lettering. That's why it took her awhile to realize there was a method to the madness.

I think that is a great idea. If you go in for that sort of thing, you could include packets of seeds and some message about growing or blossoming, yada yada yada.
