Our wings are not tired.

Susan, I really don't know how single parents manage. I am sunk when I try it alone.

I am apparently very far from dead. I not only work tomorrow but I'm at work now and was at work yesterday too. This weekend concept is foreign to me.

ND is me.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

rough day, Susan. Make tomorrow as easy as possible.

I am another one with tomorrow off. But i don't work Mondays, anyway. So not sure if I should join the zombies or what.

Weather report from the East bay: earlier it was fake rain. Too much water for fog, but not really rain. Now it is going between dark and sunny , and the wind is whipping around. I think I need hot chocolate

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I am eating miso and then off to work.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I had possibly the most effective trip to the Container Store ever.

I hope your mojo rubs off. I'm about to go down there and get some bins for Matilda's toys.

meara's omelet forced me to make my own omelet, which was so delicious I can only say: Thank you, meara.

Discovery: the smaller omelet pan is there for a reason, dammit! It worked so much better in the 8 inch pan.

Also: diced and sauteed onions with diced ham and feta cheese? Scrumptious omelet.

Hah! Mine was a crepe, with those in it, but an omelet would've been good too. And yours sounds yummy! (Note: Now that I am on the west coast, all time-delayed from the easterners, I'm being influenced by them foodwise, it's freaky, reading all the lunch discussions later)

Later, I am going bowling. Friends are attempting to set me up with a pastry chef. Mmmmm.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I work tomorrow, but today I had pumpkin pancakes for b-fast at Hugo's and GF and I (finally) went to the Murakami exhibit [link] It was so effin cool! And I don't even care that I spent $200 in the gift store on 2 flower face pillows, some buttons, stickers, and postcards. So fun!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I should make an omelet! But I don't have any ham.

sarameg - Jan 20, 2008 1:10:07 pm PST #4320 of 10001

I have ham! But no eggs. So I'm eating coleslaw and garlic chicken pizza.

I ended up getting some fleece gloves and a fleece zip up at target. The gloves are kinda loud (b&w large houndstooth) but I don't really care. My old suede gloves were always kinda tight and not really that warm and omg, the steering wheel and gearshift make my bones hurt in this weather. The fleece, well, my other one is fine just completely embedded with cat hair. So I got a lighter color one. It'll still get coated, I just won't notice it as much. (I spent a long time this weekend attacking the other one with various defurrers. Oy.)

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

Gloomcookie, the exhibit looks amazing!

Our wings are not tired

I probably shouldn't mention that it is sunny and in the 60's here. Of course I'm in a dark theatre.
