I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Well, feh. The DirectTV guy came by and said that the tree in front of our house might block the satellite signal. The supervisor is gonna come out on Saturday for a second opinion, but we may be back to the drawing board. (We wanted a DVR, but didn't want to buy a TiVO and pay the subscription fee on top of our ridiculous cable bill)

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I Dutch Babied this morning. Now I'm roasting a chicken. I don't know where this attack of domesticity came from.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

you all make me feel bad for complaining about the cold while I was out today(low 30's I think).

I had a productive day: church, got make-up (Dept. store), some things from 99cent store, a box to the UPS store (returned half of a Zappo order), lunch with friend, returned an item and got replacement plus needed organizey things, then home fixit thing, and finally some on sale stuff for mac for next year and summer.

At home I've managed to clean up a lot of little stuff - like papers covering tables and pencils laying about. Mac is leggoing and joining me in watching the games. He swears he likes football now, and I could not be more pleased. I think I will reward him with chips.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't know where this attack of domesticity came from.

It's good to have the oven on when it's cold out!

(low 30's I think).

I don't think it got that warm. It's 21 now.

Go Pats! My mother's side of the family is victorious!

I'm so sick of the Pats.

OK, is anyone else seriously annoyed by the Tampax "you can help a girl in Africa go to school by buying tampons" commericals? They just....I dont' know what it is, but the way it's worded, and the strange two-girls-in-a-hut (is the one girl showing the other how to use a tampon? And then they walk out hand in hand all excited cause now she can go to school?)...it annoys me. I don't doubt the message, and I'm all for good works, but...

There's something off about those commercials, I agree.

But it is actually a really big problem, with huge implications, that doesn't get much attention, so I guess you gotta give them something.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I've been thinking about what's getting under my skin about that commercial, but I can't quite verbalize it.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The Patriots are so going to lose in the Superbowl. They have no answer for Walter Payton or The Refridgerator.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

That's pretty much where I am (I mean, seriously, having to use dirty rags and paper?) But then, I haven't seen the commercials.
