Hah! Mine was a crepe, with those in it, but an omelet would've been good too. And yours sounds yummy! (Note: Now that I am on the west coast, all time-delayed from the easterners, I'm being influenced by them foodwise, it's freaky, reading all the lunch discussions later)
Later, I am going bowling. Friends are attempting to set me up with a pastry chef. Mmmmm.
I work tomorrow, but today I had pumpkin pancakes for b-fast at Hugo's and GF and I (finally) went to the Murakami exhibit [link] It was so effin cool! And I don't even care that I spent $200 in the gift store on 2 flower face pillows, some buttons, stickers, and postcards. So fun!
I should make an omelet! But I don't have any ham.
I have ham! But no eggs. So I'm eating coleslaw and garlic chicken pizza.
I ended up getting some fleece gloves and a fleece zip up at target. The gloves are kinda loud (b&w large houndstooth) but I don't really care. My old suede gloves were always kinda tight and not really that warm and omg, the steering wheel and gearshift make my bones hurt in this weather. The fleece, well, my other one is fine just completely
embedded
with cat hair. So I got a lighter color one. It'll still get coated, I just won't notice it as much. (I spent a long time this weekend attacking the other one with various defurrers. Oy.)
Gloomcookie, the exhibit looks amazing!
I probably shouldn't mention that it is sunny and in the 60's here. Of course I'm in a dark theatre.
Well, feh. The DirectTV guy came by and said that the tree in front of our house might block the satellite signal. The supervisor is gonna come out on Saturday for a second opinion, but we may be back to the drawing board. (We wanted a DVR, but didn't want to buy a TiVO and pay the subscription fee on top of our ridiculous cable bill)
I Dutch Babied this morning. Now I'm roasting a chicken. I don't know where this attack of domesticity came from.
you all make me feel bad for complaining about the cold while I was out today(low 30's I think).
I had a productive day: church, got make-up (Dept. store), some things from 99cent store, a box to the UPS store (returned half of a Zappo order), lunch with friend, returned an item and got replacement plus needed organizey things, then home fixit thing, and finally some on sale stuff for mac for next year and summer.
At home I've managed to clean up a lot of little stuff - like papers covering tables and pencils laying about. Mac is leggoing and joining me in watching the games. He swears he likes football now, and I could not be more pleased. I think I will reward him with chips.
I don't know where this attack of domesticity came from.
It's good to have the oven on when it's cold out!
(low 30's I think).
I don't think it got that warm. It's 21 now.
Go Pats! My mother's side of the family is victorious!
