Allyson, I left yesterday not remembering you were phoneless! Der. I called but got a weird non-messagey messagey thing.
I had fries with my omlette at breakfast today.

I know I should get over it/learn to process it differently.
You could try to process it like I do, which is: holy crap, people who don't know you are buying and reading your book!
I'm already thinking about having fries with my dinner.
Thanks for the input guys! I swear if it turns into a paper, I'll credit the Buffistas.
We were discussing it in work as there was a paper where the idea was that megalithic tombs were places where deities lived (sort of), and they couldn't leave there. And we were thinking about other examples where that may be the case, or not.
And of course that tangents into defining divinity and its boundaries and whether archaeologists can legitimately have a position on that.
The horror... The horror....

I love the caption for this page: [link]
Six harlequins were skinned for this, and the fire chief is still looking for his hat. This was a popular outfit for women who wanted to lie motionless on the floor of an Italian restaurant and observe people.
It's not really an either/or, Jesse. I contain multitudes.
Went to get the burrito.
Place was packed, since I arrived at 11:30. Asshole frat boys in line behind me. Initally was overcharged for a MONDO burrito, and handed the guy my credit card before I processed that he'd actually said thirteen dollars. Set off the car alarm in the garage, which I have never done, and am consequently deaf.
Fortunately, I bought a cookie.
I ended up with BK, because it's cold and I didn't want to go outside, and also french fries NOM NOM NOM.
Wait, does this mean there's a BK in the Loop? Where, dammit, where?!?
I grabbed a sandwich after my interview (went okay, I think one woman really liked me) grilled chicken and brie panini, yum. Except that it was 8 dollars! For just a sandwich -- no side or drink in sight! It was good, but not that good. And it was regular sized, not like it was so enormous I could split it (like the one I got at Whole Foods yesterday)

Randolph & Clark. Thompson Center. Bottom level, near the Secretary of State.
They are going to cram another human into my workspace, which I already share with someone.
Both are marketing/recruiting people, who will be on the phone constantly. I have to answer the phones, so it will sound liek a telemarketing office in here. And i will go mad. And be unable to play my iPod, therefore working without any music as well.
I think they should also put a jackhammer in my area so people can come by and randomly drill holes in the concrete, just for added noise-texture.
