And Kaylee, what the hell's goin' on in the engine room? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I grabbed a sandwich after my interview (went okay, I think one woman really liked me) grilled chicken and brie panini, yum. Except that it was 8 dollars! For just a sandwich -- no side or drink in sight! It was good, but not that good. And it was regular sized, not like it was so enormous I could split it (like the one I got at Whole Foods yesterday)

Wait, does this mean there's a BK in the Loop? Where, dammit, where?!?

Randolph & Clark. Thompson Center. Bottom level, near the Secretary of State.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

They are going to cram another human into my workspace, which I already share with someone.

Both are marketing/recruiting people, who will be on the phone constantly. I have to answer the phones, so it will sound liek a telemarketing office in here. And i will go mad. And be unable to play my iPod, therefore working without any music as well.

I think they should also put a jackhammer in my area so people can come by and randomly drill holes in the concrete, just for added noise-texture.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

This is annoying though:

Toxicology results for Dhaliwal showed that his blood alcohol level was 0.16 -- twice the legal limit for driving, according to the affidavit. His 24-year-old brother Kulbir Dhaliwal and Sousa also had alcohol in their blood but within the legal limit, Matthews wrote

Within the legal limit for DRIVING though. There is no legal limit for walking around and acting like a fool.

This is very effed up:

The affidavit also cites multiple reports of a group of young men taunting animals at the zoo, the Chronicle reported.

The zoo does have a responsibility to ensure the public's safety, but the thought of these shitheads taunting caged animals makes me sick. Assholes.

Hivemind resume questions!!!!!

Do I need to put my education at the top of a resume, still?

Does The Book go in my resume chronologically like a job?

How would I describe that work, and is my employer my agency?

Jesse - Jan 18, 2008 8:38:33 am PST #4049 of 10001
Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'd put education at the bottom, and the book separately as an other type thing.

Compassionately intolerant

Any creative ideas for finding house cleaning service employee candidates?

The Union?

Yep. Did that. Which I assumed would garner loads of prospects but the agencies only had people who wanted to sign on to the big hotels. A start up company could not compete with the union's benefits package even though the wages were similar.

Kathy, I thought of the embassies but not immigrant orgs. I'll suggest that.

That's what I would have said.
