I knew about Evil Dead: The Musical but those posters are fabulous. I wonder if they're for sale.
Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Ha, that poster is pretty awesome.
Evil Dead the Musical is playing at a cabaret near me in June. [link]
I didn't know you lived in Martinez! I have a friend who lives there.
I don't live there (I am one stop East on the train), but my parents do and I have season tickets to that theater. I'd ask if I know your friend, but my Martinez connections are really very few. It's good to know that Friends of Polter-Cow are hipping up the place!
Let's see, something on topic - went and saw Harold and Kumar last night. It was okay.
Hee--Nine Reasons Why Narnia Will Never Be As Cool As Lord of the Rings.
3. Prince Caspian/Peter Pevensie slash fan fiction is kinda dull compared to Legolas/Gimli slash. (Although Peter/Legolas crossover slash could would be a totally blond-boy orgy...)
6. Huge dearth in Narnia of evil fiery volcanoes.
Poor Mt. Doom - totally guilty by association.
Prince Caspian/Peter Pevensie slash fan fiction is kinda dull compared to Legolas/Gimli slash.
Please. Caspian/Edmund is totally the preferred pairing.
I finally saw La Vie En Rose. I was kind of disappointed. Marion Cotillard was fantastic but the way the story jumped around in time I had trouble keeping the minor characters straight.
So...who's gonna see Iron Man this weekend? Anyone going to see it tonight? I'm tempted to see it tonight, but this cold is still kicking my ass, and I'm afraid I'd cough through the whole thing, which is, in fact, justifiable grounds for the other moviegoers to kill me.
But I plan to see it before the weekend's out. It looks awesome, and has gotten great reviews.
