I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Prince Caspian/Peter Pevensie slash fan fiction is kinda dull compared to Legolas/Gimli slash.

Please. Caspian/Edmund is totally the preferred pairing.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I finally saw La Vie En Rose. I was kind of disappointed. Marion Cotillard was fantastic but the way the story jumped around in time I had trouble keeping the minor characters straight.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

So...who's gonna see Iron Man this weekend? Anyone going to see it tonight? I'm tempted to see it tonight, but this cold is still kicking my ass, and I'm afraid I'd cough through the whole thing, which is, in fact, justifiable grounds for the other moviegoers to kill me.

But I plan to see it before the weekend's out. It looks awesome, and has gotten great reviews.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'll probably see it Sunday afternoon. If I can hold my distaste for the printed comic character at bay long enough to enjoy the movie, anyway.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm totally seeing it this weekend.

Holy shit, it's got a 95% on RT.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

I'm probably going to see Iron Man tomorrow night, if, like Steph, I am over this horrific cough.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Iron Man is an interesting industry benchmark. I know a lot of movie people are watching it's numbers.

Why? It's going head to head with Grand Theft Auto. A video game. This is an absolutely major movie release which has gotten great reviews, so they're interested to see if GTA's release impacts the box office.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

We're predicting it to do almost as well as Spider-Man 3. I hope we're wrong because we are so behind in hiring right now.

whoa... as of now we have 0 presold tickets for our 8:30 pre-screening of Iron Man.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I hope to see it this weekend. I had sworn off comic book movies but Robert Downey, Jr tempted me back in.
