Yes, in the version Moriarty saw that wild thing was voiced by James Gandolfini. I almost thought it was Jack Black in the clip.
I'm excited about the movie. I always thought there was something mysterious and scary about the book and I would love to see a movie that puts me back in the state of mind I had when I read the book as a child.
I thought Jumper was bloody awful.

Well, it does have some neat sci-fi eye candy.
But read the book instead.

They filmed some scenes near where moonlit and me live. If memory serves it was on the road to the Cape Nelson lighthouse, so possibly the "Enchanted Forest".

I saw it for that basic reason, but left feeling annoyed. I think the first 20 minutes or so is serviceable, but the rest is dire.
I still have absolutely no idea why Jamie Bell's character is even in the movie. Like, at all. Or any idea about why Samuel L. Jackson's character was doing what he was doing. Like, at all. The lead character treats his love interest like shit.
I saw a movie Jamie Bell was in last year called Hallam Foe - it was my favourite film of 2007, so I know he can act.
The problems with the film are too numerous to name, but really they start with the script. Whoever wrote it has no idea how to make characters you care about. Or know about.
