Yeah. I agree she didn't have a cohesive theme, but I did love a couple of those outfits.

Yeah, I really liked her idea of carrying through the themes from the season - for the tv audience I think it really worked. For a show, not so sure.
But really - Danielle's stuff was so poorly made and fitted. Jean-Paul - I don't know that I can judge it fairly because I was so incensed. But overall, they seem to be judging (I'm still watching) so much based on the *ideas* rather than what's actually on the runway.
I have been trying to ignore the presence of Kherington in the Fame remake because it is so distrubing. I remember the first time I saw the trailer and there she was putting that fake ass grin all up in my face. It was disconcerting. Thankfully, there is so much awesome that I truly beleive it will overcome any bad Kherington juju. Also, from what I understand, she has a fairly small part. It's not like they hired her to play Coco.
I wonder if there are other SYTYCD kids in it? It seems like a good match.
I heart kat and her Kherington hate. Hee.
The emmy noms sent me on this crazy journey of youtube, wherein I watched "Bleeding Love" umpteen million times because it's just that great. And then I watched eight billion different groups and schools and such attempt that choreo or similar, or their own spin on the song. It's just amazing to me the differences in the movement.
And it made me nostalgic for dance class. I wanted to sprawl on the floor beneath the barre and lean against the mirrors. I really loved dancing. I should probably do something about that.
But I digress. It was so odd to see all the different interpretations of the same choreo. The other couple doing it on the tour, classes with pairs, classes with single dancers, people apparently in their living rooms. First it made me appreciate good movement. But secondly, it made me happy for all those people just doing their thing.
Looking at the paso versions was the same way, sadly. It's about committing, you know? Anyway, I'm sorry to see Kupono go, but it was probably right, and watching last season's stuff made me miss Mark.
(And Kelsey Grammar. Please don't let him dance.)
he's probably the crochety English teacher.
and if Debbie Allen does not say the "Fame costs" line, I will demand a refund. Bonus points if she bangs the pole on the ground while saying it.
Whale Wars: Isn't "follow orders" supposed to be one of the do-not-break-this-rule-ever rules of running a ship? Paul Watson looked like his head was about to explode.
Is it wrong that I'm glad Fox won't show the president's press conference tonight? [link]
BB: Did you see this? [link] Braden was calling what's-his-name a "beaner"! Slightly hilarious, given that he's not Mexican...
I'm not quite sure how I feel about not showing the news conference. I mean, it's the president (not that I really want to miss the first hour of SYTYCD) Is it a slight on Obama, or just an acknowledgment that people don't want their shows preempted?
I think it's some of both.
