I was like "anyone but the French guy. What an asshole" and seemingly for no reason.

I'm thinking that his sense of humor did not translate well or something. I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I like Kupono and Kayla as a couple and I thought the Viennese Waltz was lovely. They both had great lines and really nice rise and fall. Kupono lost his frame a litte bit at times and there was one hippity hop moment on that turn where she had her leg extended, but they were solid. And they looked very well together. I hope they make it another week because I think they could gel.

Evan and Randi are just too cute together and I loved that dance. I disagreed with Nigel. The choreography was not all that simple. Yes, Mia's done much tougher pieces in the past, but this dance required lots of body control, especially on Randi's part, and they handled it really, really well. And Evan is so musical. It's a joy to watch.

I would not have known that Jason and Caitlin were supposed to be doing a Paso if they hadn't said so at the top of the routine and that's a real problem. Their technique was horrible. Awful, awful. For both of them, the frame was crap. And all of their moves lacked power and intention. The dance itself was flashy but content free. 90% of the impact was from the costumes. And I still think Caitlin was better in this than Jason. His split leap was pathetic. Bah. I did not enjoy.

I think I might vote for the first time, just to be sure that Melissa and Ade, Jeannette and Brandon, and Evan and Randi move on, because they were definitely the best of the bunch tonight.

Agreed, those three were my favorites. I loved Mia's dance.

I was bummed that the Paso Doble wasn't better since I look forward to that each season. I like Carmina Burana as much as anyone, but I thought the music was really distracting.

Bottom 3 for me would be Karla & Jonathan, Kaitlin & Jason, and Jeanine & Philip.

I have to give it up to Tasty. That Broadway routine was oodles of fun. He's so much better when he stays far, far away from the Fosse. And Jeanine was marvelous. Phillip tried really hard. That and $2.50 will get you a cup of coffee. He really needs to go home now.

B3 for me would be Jason/Caitlin, Karla/Jonathan and either Phillip/Jeanine or Asuka/Vitolio. But I could easily see Kupono/Kayla hitting B3. I think Brandon/Janette, Melissa/Ade and Randi/Evan are really pulling away from the pack. I expect to see all six of them in the top 10.

Yeah, the Bway routine wasn't bad, I'm just still bitter he wasn't in the bottom last week.

Maybe it's the French thing, but I really want Vitolio to do well. Asuko doesn't really bother me. Yet.

I love Jeannette and her Finance degree. Good thing she danced well tonight, too.

No doubt Phillip should have been B3 last week. I think he should be B3 this week, too. It should be either him or Jonathan going home this week.

There's still not been one routine that I would seek out and re-watch. Randi and Evan's contemporary piece from Week One comes the closest. If I ran across it, I wouldn't turn it off. I guess I can say the same for Kupono and Ashley's Wade piece also from Week One. But neither one set me on fire like Bleeding Love or No Air or Secret Garden from last season or any number of Danny and Anya's dances from S3 or tons of dances from S2, Too Much Booty, Why, the Benjelle Viennese Waltz. This season is just underwhelming.
